Lindsay Brookhart |
Lindsay is a native of Spokane, Washington and an avid admirer of the beauties of the Inland Northwest. She currently works as a nurse practitioner at a local health clinic for the underprivileged and underserved community in North Spokane. Her career in medicine has provided her with the knowledge that the health of individuals exists in tandem with the state of the natural world around them— to support the wellness of our community we must also support and prioritize the natural ecosystems that surrounds us. Aside from her work in the medical community, Lindsay is the mother of one human child and four furry ones, including a stoic, wise, old dog and three cats. Lindsay’s decision to join the board of On Sacred Ground Land Trust is based on her core belief that all forms of the life on this planet matter. It is her privilege to be part of an organization that is working to sustain and support the Earth with a spirit of stewardship and respect for our planet and the many life systems it sustains. |
